In the second quarter of 2025, the top-performing news and magazine apps on the Android platform in Venezuela exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Noticias Locales saw a notable rise in weekly downloads, peaking at around 13.6K in early June. The app's active user base also grew, reaching over 130K in late May before settling at around 120K by the end of June.

For Tomorrow's Affairs, downloads surged dramatically in late May, hitting a high of 54K. Active users mirrored this trend, with numbers climbing to approximately 56K by late June.

X (Formerly Twitter) maintained a steady performance with weekly downloads averaging around 7.7K. Revenue peaked at over $1K in late June, while active users fluctuated, peaking at approximately 1.3M in mid-May.

CGTN – China Global TV Network experienced a significant increase in downloads in early June, reaching over 23K. Active users also increased, surpassing 12K in early June before tapering off slightly.

Finally, Church News showed a consistent rise in both downloads and active users, with downloads peaking at 5.2K in late June and active users reaching approximately 7.6K.
